so i have Thoughts about gillion and colour

like, gill spent most of his life in the capital, quite literally called 'the trench', and i doubt there was much light down there. hed see in greys, along with everyone else.

and i like to think that, maybe, gillion was born in a coral reef.

hed have light and colour and dappled sunshine and coral and other people for far too short a time, then hed be shipped off to the capital, sent to become the chosen one.

and then hes exiled.

hed slowly float to the surface of the southern sea, id think hed be awestruck the closer he got.

everything's so bright and the oceans so bright oddly familiar in a way that he cant qute place and the waves keep washing him under and pretzels bright pink!

i think gillion forgot what he looked like, that he wasn't just blue against darker blue. hed have light accents of pink and green and any colours you could imagine against so many gorgeous blues. i dont think hed properly notice until either jay or chip point it out. i think hed almost cry at how much he reminds himself of the image of edyn hes kept in his head from when he was home
